Hamico® 178 is a liquid rust remover designed to dissolve rust on contact. Hamico® 178 is used full strength and can be applied by brushing or dipping or spray application with an airless sprayer. The time required for rust removal is dependent upon the degree of rust present. Blush rust is removed in a few minutes, whereas, heavy rust will require longer times and, perhaps, repeated rinsing and application. Removal of Hamico® 178 is easily accomplished by a water rinse.
